Who We Are

The Castle Rock Chapter of the NSDAR is one of the newest of Colorado’s 44 DAR chapters. We organized on June 13, 2015, in the same year as the quasquicentennial celebration of the founding of the National Society.

We are a patriotic, nonprofit, nonpolitical volunteer women’s service organization organization dedicated to promoting the National Society’s objectives of patriotism, education, historic preservation, and service to our community.

With more than 120 years of tradition, over 930,000 members admitted since its founding, a vast array of service work and countless activities in our communities, there is much to learn about the DAR and we are excited to begin our celebrations as a new chapter.

We welcome any woman, 18 years or older, who can prove her lineal descent from any individual who helped achieve American independence. Interested women are encouraged to attend one of our meetings so they may learn more about us and all that we do.
